The Bars

Rules of the yard

This page is the whole shakedown. Every number here comes from the same config file the collector reads, rules version v1.

The van

Every 5 minutes a collector job pulls fresh Solana coins from four free sources: the newest DexScreener token profiles, DexScreener boosts, and the new and trending pools on GeckoTerminal. Market numbers come from DexScreener in batches of 30 addresses, with GeckoTerminal and Jupiter filling in coins DexScreener hasn't indexed yet.

A coin the warden has seen in the last 3 hours stays off the van. Turned-back coins get another ride after that, so a coin that was too new gets a second look once it has some history.

The seven checks

Cheap checks run first. The expensive one, holder concentration, only runs for coins that passed the other six: the public RPC rate-limits it hard.

Liquidity counts every pool the coin trades in. Age runs from its first pair. The curve check passes when at least one pool is a real market with liquidity (PumpSwap, Raydium, Meteora, Orca), not only a launch curve. Holder share leaves out pool accounts, known pool authorities and the burn address.

Booked or not

A coin gets booked only when all seven checks come back as a pass. One fail and it is turned away. The file names the first check it failed and puts the number in the line.

When a source doesn't answer, that check is marked “not checked” and hatched on the case file. An unchecked coin never gets booked, even with six passes. It goes back in line for the next van.

Fails that look like trouble for whoever buys send the coin to the hole: dumping hard in the last hour, sellers outnumbering buyers in a busy hour, a pool pulled out from under a big market cap, or ten wallets holding too much. Everything else, like too small, too new or still on the curve, sends it back on the van to try again later.

Not checked yet

Three checks need full transaction history, which costs money. Until we pay for it, their rows stay hatched on every case file and never count as a pass.

  • Crew check
    Bundled launch
Needs the launch block's full transaction list.
  • Fake crowd
    Wash trading
Needs every trade with its wallet, not a public summary.
  • Vouched for

Needs a scored wallet list and their trade history.

Life in the block

A booked coin stays in the block for up to 24 hours. Every van refreshes its numbers. If it loses 60% of its market cap since booking, or its liquidity drops under $2k, it goes over the wall: it leaves the block and the escape gets logged.

The record

The collector comes back to every booked coin at 1, 6, 24 hours and logs its market cap against the moment of booking. The record shows the median of each coin's latest checkpoint, the share still up, and the best and worst single picks.

For comparison, up to 3 turned-away coins per van join a control group and get measured at 24 hours. Every decision and follow-up is a line in data/history.jsonl, committed to git as it happens. We never rewrite a line, and changing a threshold bumps the rules version instead.

Doing time

Holding $BARS gets you housing in the yard. The bag size picks the cell. Time served is how long the bag has stayed put. Sell more than 2% of it and you're paroled early: the clock goes back to zero. Until $BARS launches, housing and time served wait, and smokes come from roll call and lines.

  • Roll call: 5 smokes a day, one more for each day in a row, up to 10.
  • Lines: 3 smokes for each line you land on a booked coin, paid for the first 10 a day, 40 throws a day at most.
  • Time served: 2 smokes per full hour, times your housing rate.
  • Ranks: Fresh fish (day one), Regular (24h), Old hand (7 days), Lifer (30 days).
  • Smokes stay in the yard ledger. You can't withdraw or sell them. The server counts every one and the client only asks.

Fine print

The Bars is a filter and a game. A booked coin passed seven checks at one moment and nothing more. It is not financial advice or a reason to buy anything. Thresholds: liquidity $8k+, market cap $25k to $5M, age 20 minutes to 72 hours.
